Just a scar

Deadly quiet seems to have swallow Arandel's room. Thaiden, her precious companion and fiancee enters the room and finds Arandel full of sorrow sitting on the floor

Thaiden: Hey what's all that mourn about?
Arandel: Nothin'....


Thaiden: You can't lie to me Ara...tell me what's wrong.
Arandel turned her head in order to show him her wounded cheek.


Thaiden: Pfff how did that happened?
Arandel: Hagraven. Now go i don't want you to see me like that


Thaiden answered her with a grin and stood in front to face her
- And why's that?
- Because i look ungly, she anwsered
But Thaiden didn't gave up, in any case he wouldn't.


- So ? he asked and gently passed his hand among her raven hair. She didn't say anything this time.

- Even if a dragon's breath burnt your face i'd continue considered as beautiful as the first time i saw it.

- Why?

- Because when i look at you my heart replaces my eyes and the heart Arandel always shows us the truth
