This is a preview of what is to come. There has been requests of before/after pictures, so I provided some. It is important here to note that these screenshots has been taken in the exact same light conditions and nothing has been altered. These are HAR vs. vanilla HRDLC unaltered (rendered within Marmoset Toolbag v1.08)

I did the comparisons in different conditions:
Front: Diffuse with normal and specular map applied.
Front: Normal map and specular map only.
Back: Diffuse with normal and specular map applied.
Back: Normal map and specular map only.

    And that was REAL sexy.
    (Seriously, this looks amazing. Superb job. And I'm referring to the shield, not that oh-so-sexy beast in the image.)
