Skyrim

After a few polishes here and there, version 2.0 is now ready for release. BE SURE TO READ THE README!

As has been mentioned multiple times previously, there is a major change in PCEAr's system, hence the major version increment. The article can be read here

That article was written quite a long time ago, and although it mostly holds true, a few small things has changed. Most notably, USKP dependency has been dropped, as Unofficial Patches are not actually needed. For this same reason, dependency on Update.esm has been dropped across the board. Official DLCs themselves require Update.esm though

Dragonborn support doesn't require PCEAr 2.0. Users who wish to stay on version 1.4 can ignore the .esps and use only the .esms, things will work just fine thanks to PCEAr's modular nature.

Installation guide for both PCEAr 2.0 and Dragonborn support is available for reference.

There is also a tiny plugin to support Hearthfire, it only changes the armors of Falkreath's housecarl

In any case, users who upgrade to 2.0 from 1.x will have to reorganize their whole custom folder (and most possibly re-extract the Skyrim meshes bsa again) AND re-apply their ARMO and ARMA modifications to the original versions. I, too, will have to deal with that, so the feeling is mutual

And make note that this version, while plays very nice with vanilla game, breaks compatibility with most mods that introduce new NPCs or edit existing OTF and LVLI records. Skyrim Scaling Stopper, for example, will not be compatible until someone releases a compatibility patch. Could be me, or the mod's author, or someone else who likes both mods enough

Anyway, have fun (reorganizing everything)
