"No wonder Alain was incensed at the offer of five thousand septims for her."

      Massive LMAO! (for me) and
massive, supremely awkward, red-faced embarrassment (for both of them)
Good one. You gotta admit it would be pretty damned hilarious to witness....
I doubt they would quite appreciate the humour though.....Cheers, zeroxee!

    Whoa!
    Talk about smouldering sensuality^^.....
That's it. It's official....Rathe is LOST for certain now!
The rivulets and beads of icy water must have been like bright, molten diamonds running down her exquisite, silky-smooth skin in the moonlight.
There is NO more devastating and effective weapon in existence than a lovely, lissome, petite young woman's nude form, especially when coupled with wicked womanly wiles......Guaranteed!^^

It's already been revealed that Sweet and sultry Fleur possesses a sharp intellect that vastly belies her youth, so I strongly suspect that she knew DAMNED WELL she was being watched, especially after Rathe accidently kicked that stone noisily down to the water like a clumsy OAF......

(That's a BAD omen, with his kind of skill he ought NOT to be so careless....SEE! She's messing him up already, and especially now, big time.......uh-oh.........)

.....Yet after a moment of alert surprise, she unashamedly and brazenly kept bathing, "....periodically turned her gaze into the shadows as she splashed and twirled...." knowingly giving him a show, (and most probably some "wood" as well) and innocently pretending nonchalance!^^
Fleur is WAY more deliciously dangerous than she, or Rathe might realize!
    Swiftly endorsed.
Sincere and warm thanks and cheers for this sweet, smouldering and sensuous episode, jess!
You deserve to be making BIG buck$ for such "novelistic" talent.

BTW: I loved that video....lemme take a massively WILD guess: scenes from The Great White North, right? With my fellow-countryman, the classic crooner Leonard Cohen.

Wow Amadan! You really GOT it! All the subtlety in the chapter (like Fleur playing up to Rathe), you nailed it hon! Thanks so much for the very lovely and insightful review!! You have a knack for really seeing what's going on!! Thanks again dear!

PS yes Mr Cohen was responsible for the music! I do so love his pipes!!

It seems that Rathe's defences offer no protection from Fleur's womanly charms! Great chapter and lovely song, Jess! <3

Oh, wow it was very beautifully, no gorgeously written! Such a wonderful emotional chapter with completely unexpected twist for me, for I supposed that Fleur could try to run as Rathe did... guess we were both surprised. It was so amazing, to read about Fleur's beauty, she is like gorgeous water nymph who made even the dull waters shine with magical light, seems like Rathe was quite affected by her, although of course he won't admit it bluntly, only with this saying: "No wonder Alain was incensed at the offer of five thousand septims for her."
Fantastic shots as well, very beautiful and sensual, I loved Rathe's expression of shock and awe, truly this girl world has turned his world upside down, as you've once put it. Thank you very much for sharing your awesome work!

Thanks hon! This chapter nearly didn't make it! I wrote it, highlighted it to delete it then changed my mind. I didn't want Fleur to be seen in the wrong light but I think it's worked. Everyone seems to have gotten that she's still innocent yet feisty - exactly what I wanted. Plus, I was worried about showing weakness in Rathe but again, everyone seems to have taken that correctly; she simply unmasked him for a moment!

Leonard Cohen, one of my all time favorite artists, how fitting this song was for this chapter and what a amazing chapter it was!! Rathe will never be able to leave her in Markarth after this will he?
