Change Log
===========
Version 1.4
Wild Horses are non-hostile.
Verified with TES5 Edit to be clean.

Optional file for version 1.4
Compatible with ThirteenOranges Amber Guard (available through the Steam Workshop).
Removes herd by Rorickstead.
Please make a clean save to prevent CTD.

Description
===========
Makes Skyrim more immersive by adding herds of wild horses to various locations.

Details
======
The horses can be killed, but they do respawn with the exception of wild stallions; they're essential.
You can loot hide and meat from them.
The horses are standalone, and should not overwrite (or be overwritten by) any other mods that change the appearance of horses, (ie. horse armour mods, re-modeled and/or re-textured horses). They have their own meshes and textures made by AlienSlof.
In each herd there is at least one ridable horse (stallion).
When dismounting, the wild stallion will run back to his home herd.
Wild stallions are only meant for temporary transportation.

Horses Gone Wild is compatible with War Zones-Civil Unrest and Wars Of Skyrim.

Works perfectly fine with mounted combat.

Location
========
There is a map in the zip file giving you a rough idea were the herds are located.

Install
=======
If you're updating from old to version 1.3.
I recommend following the "Un-install instructions" before extracting the files to your Data folder.
I've made a lot of changes and some files are obsolete.
Make a clean save in the game, then install and activate the latest version.

1. Copy the Meshes, Texture folder and HorsesGoneWild.esp file to SteamsteamappscommonskryimData
2. Start Skyrim Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a check-mark beside the .esp file.

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Skyrim Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file.
2. Delete the following files:

If you have an older version
skyrimDataHorsesGoneWild.esp
skyrimDataMeshesHorsesGoneWild folder
skyrimDataTexturesHorsesHoneWild folder

Version 1.4
skyrimDataHorsesGoneWild.esp
skyrimDataHorsesGoneWild.bsa
skyrimDataHorsesGoneWild.bsl

Incompatibility
===============
There is a possibility Horses Gone Wild may overlap with other mods that use the same exterior cells.
I've done my best in choosing locations that should not conflict with most of these mods.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
None
