Hi, if you have a quiet sound problem in Skyrim (mainly voices) you are probably running a 2.1 speaker set up, although Bethesda claim Skyrim supports all speaker configs truth is it runs much better on a 5.1 set up and just simply works to a certain extent on others.
I have supplied a readme file with simple instructions to configure your sound directly in windows to give Skyrim more solid sound and voices will be louder (tested with 2.1 speakers).
