Xaphod's Hi-res Pelts.
Updated: version 0.2 now available
Improves the look of the pelts on the walls in taverns, on beds, on floors, etc.
It got on my nerves that they looked so much lower quality than the hi-res texture mods I'd installed.
I loaded the original files, doubled the size and edited them using photoshop filters and adding photo overlays of fur images.
To install, unzip into your skyrim/data directory.
To uninstall, just delete the six pelt files.
Update: version 0.2 has much better alphas than 0.1 (and vanilla ;) ) and a reworked normal / spec map for pelt 3 as my first version (like Bethesda's original) suffered from looking waxy and had issues with using the colour map as the source for the normals - that doesn't work when you're texturing a bi-colour fur.
If you like my work on this check out High (Res) Hrothgar http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3182
