In the original animated banner models the mesh is single sided and the texture is indicated as double sided.
This leads to duplicate the image of the texture but also the way it is enlightened, whereas one side should receive light and the other side should be in the shadow.
If this has very low aesthetic impact when the banner is close to a wall, it looks very strange when you can see both sides.

This meshes ressource gives modified nif files which correct this ugly effect.
Included are two banners types corresponding to two different form factors (generic banners, and mythic dawn banners) for the four basic animations.

This was done for personnal purposes and I do not intend to modify all the Skyrim banners that way.

EDIT
Due to some misunderstanding considering the purpose of this nif files, a second archive has been uploaded, in order to place the modified meshes in the right place within the Data folder.

Installation
Simply drop the Data folder in you Skyrim folder.
