About this mod

A quick boost to the textures of all the giants in Skyrim

Permissions and credits
A simple texture replacement to improve the quality of all the giants in the game.

Now comes with -

v 1.2 -
- Upgraded the texture to the new ones from the Hi-Res pack and did the same changes that the earlier versions had.
- Someone requested for a little more gory giants so added blood splatters to their belly but faded so the blood doesn't look fresh
- Slight color modifications here and there but almost negligible. To eliminate some color seams.

v 1.1 -
- Cleansed the eyes a bit to make the iris effects a little subtle.
- Removed some unncessary black spots on the skin (that were meant to be hair but were distorted completely when Bethesda compressed the texture)
- Enhanced the veins on the hands to pop out more
- Enhanced the lighting on the face. Also cleansed it up a little bit.

v 1.0 -
- Improved texture quality on the leather rags
- Sharper and Detailed Body
- Better shadows and highlights on the face and hair region.

** Important - READ **
The new textures are packed as ESP and will not overwritten by loose files. So you will need to do the following to make any of your texture mods (including this one) work with your high resolution packs.

1. Disable the HighResTexturePack01.esp and HighResTexturePack02.esp
2. Go to your Skyrim Folder and find the Skyrim_default.ini file. In it look for this column and replace it with the following.

Original:
[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa
sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa

Replace it with:
[Archive]
sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa
sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa

3. Repeat the same with your Skyrim.ini file that you can find in your My Documents > My Games > Skyrim folder.

For those wondering what the step does, it just asks your game to take textures from the BSA's directly rather than from the packed ESP's which indirectly allows loose files from custom texture mods to override the defaults.

Suggestions are welcome.
