I was torn between two textures for the blades armor, so i read a tutorial on how to make a standalone armor set ^^
the texture of this standalone is one i made here:

the other one in the photo is from this mod:

<note: not included in my file><br><br>it has the same base stats as Blades armor but has less weight and is light armor. it uses the onimusha inspired retex i made a while back. i call it Dragon's Blood armor and it can be crafted with the dragon tier perk (the akaviri did make their armor and weapons from the dragons they killed after all :p)<br><br><br>the optional red/emerald Dragon Eyes circlet uses a base texture created by Yuril found here:<br>http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6495<br>Endorse it, it's awesome ^^<br><br>installation: unzip the file to a location of your choice, move the data file to your skyrim directory and merge it with the data file there. use the mod manager or the skyrim launcher to turn on the plugin and enjoy ^^<br>file structure is as follows<br>data/meshes/armor/blades/.nif files<br>data/textures/armor/blades/.dds files<br><br>uninstallation: make sure you have a save without the armor in your inventory, deactivate plugin, delete said files<br><br>NOTE: i apologize for all the things that were missing, but i've learned quite a bit finding the fixes. everything should be working properly now. if you encounter any problems at all, please let me know ^^</note:>
